Bruges is one of those cities that is great just to walk around and get lost in.  I use the term ‘city’ loosely as it doesn’t have that feel to it at all.  It feels like a big European country town.  With cobble stone roads, cute narrow little buildings and stunning museums and churches, it just feels like somewhere you can just go and relax. Each day we found our way down to Market Square to admire the beautiful surroundings.

As it is Christmas season they had set up an Ice skating rink and Christmas markets.  We would grab some wonderful local food from the market and head off in a different direction in search for something new to see.  Even with the rain we were able to get a few great photos to ensure we don’t forget our stay in Bruges.
