The Costa del Sol, in Malaga (south of Spain) and its surrounding villages, such as Ronda, Estepona, Nerja, Mijas, Antequera, Sotogrande, Fuengirola, Benalmadena… is one of the most beautiful places to visit, but also to get married. Besides the charm of being married close to the sea and the coast, these small white villages in the mountains are full of “cortijos”, traditional Andalusian houses, olive plantations and a lot of tradition and ancient culture where celebrating a wedding can be a great idea, as we are going to see in the following images.

Wedding with Views to El Tajo de Ronda

We can say without any doubt that Ronda is one of the most beautiful villages in Andalucia with a Moorish tradition. We especially love El Tajo canyon above which the city perches with stunning views. This wedding was celebrated at The Lodge Ronda, where the atmosphere is incredible and you can really enjoy the views.

As we mentioned before, a cortijo is a large and traditional house in the rural areas of southern Spain, similar to a farmhouse, surrounded by cultivated lands, such as olive trees and is an extraordinary place to celebrate an intimate wedding, such as the one we see in this image. This wedding took place at el cortijo El Guarda, close to Ronda, Málaga. The romantic and rustic affair with lots of greenery, neutral colors and lots of fairy lights and hurricane lanterns.

Very Intimate Wedding in a Mountain in Marbella

If we can say it, very intimate weddings are the best. You just have to choose one, two or three important people in your life and make them part of this important moment. Look at this wedding on a mountain in Marbella. They wanted to convert a normal day into a very special date, and for that reason it was a very intimate wedding, very natural, with their daughter, dog and a pretty blue bicycle as the only witnesses.

If you are looking for a marbella wedding photography to capture those moments of feeling and love between you, we recommend the photographer David Biasi. The results of his production are natural, modern, simple and elegant photos, as you can see in the picture in this post.

Gibraltar – Mix of Cultures

Gibraltar is an area where two cultures come together, the English and the Andalusian, so whether you are a mixed couple or you are English but want the taste of southern Spain, a wedding in Gibraltar, near the sea, is an excellent idea. Look at this photos took by David Biasi, a gibraltar wedding photographer. These photos capture the best of the city and the nature of Gibralar. The best: the lighthouse!

We have really fallen in love with this little chapel in the village Joya de la Luz. As its name suggests, is a jewel light thanks to its colors, its views of the sea of Tarifa and its special light. A perfect place to get married.

We hope that you have loved these places in the south of Spain and and that you have them in consideration when deciding where to celebrate your wedding. Without a doubt, it will be the best day of your lives in one of the best places in the world.
